earth, we present this poem,\u00a0<\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/counteringculturaldestruction.com\/index.php\/2024\/11\/10\/keepers-of-the-flame-by-richard-weigand\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em><strong>\u201cKeepers of the Flame\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0<\/em><\/a><em>recently composed by Richard Weigand<\/em><\/h3>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Keepers of the Flame<\/strong><\/h1>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-270\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>A skull-topped cane, a gift I send<\/em><\/h2>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>To every warrior, every friend.<\/em><\/h2>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>A symbol of the path we&#8217;ve crossed<\/em><\/h2>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Of every battle won and lost<\/em><\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Its weight reminds of all we bore<\/em><\/h2>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Of what we fought for, and still more<\/em><\/h2>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>The skull once seemed to speak of death,<\/em><\/h2>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>But now I know, it&#8217;s life we kept<\/em><\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Through many lifetimes we have fought,<\/em><\/h2>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Against the shadows evil brought<\/em><\/h2>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>In every age, in every land,<\/em><\/h2>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>We stood as one, with sword in hand.<\/em><\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>We faced the dark, we felt its stare<\/em><\/h2>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Carried its weight in every prayer<\/em><\/h2>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>But in my youth, I could not see<\/em><\/h2>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>The depth of what we came to be.<\/em><\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Each life we lived, each battle met,<\/em><\/h2>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>A warriors path, I won&#8217;t forget.<\/em><\/h2>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Once I thought the fight was just<\/em><\/h2>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>A simple duty, born of trust.<\/em><\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>I never saw the spirit&#8217;s flame,<\/em><\/h2>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Or the sacred cause within our aim.<\/em><\/h2>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Not &#8217;till these years, this quiet time,<\/em><\/h2>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Did I grasp the reason for the climb.<\/em><\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Our mission clear, our purpose bright,<\/em><\/h2>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>To guard the soul, to shield its light,<\/em><\/h2>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>To hold the line, not just for land,<\/em><\/h2>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>But for the spirit of every man.<\/em><\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>And now old friends, as life draws near<\/em><\/h2>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>To the final breath, the last frontier,<\/em><\/h2>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>I see the truth of all we&#8217;ve done,<\/em><\/h2>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>The battles lost, the battles won.<\/em><\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>For through the wars, through blood and fire,<\/em><\/h2>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>We&#8217;ve built a world where spirits rise higher.<\/em><\/h2>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>We fight not just for flesh and bone,<\/em><\/h2>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>But for the soul, the deeper home.<\/em><\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Hold fast to it, and let it be<\/em><\/h2>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>A sign of strength and clarity<\/em><\/h2>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>That though we age, though bodies break,<\/em><\/h2>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Our purpose still, we won&#8217;t forsake<\/em><\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>For now I know what&#8217;s greater still,<\/em><\/h2>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>The future we shaped with heart and will<\/em><\/h2>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>We are the keepers of the flame<\/em><\/h2>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>In every life, we are the same.<\/em><\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>We fought for man, for hope, for love,<\/em><\/h2>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>With strength below and light above.<\/em><\/h2>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>And now, at last, I see the way,<\/em><\/h2>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>The truth revealed in life&#8217;s decay.<\/em><\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>We rise again, as warriors do,<\/em><\/h2>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Another life, another view.<\/em><\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>And when you hold that cane with pride,<\/em><\/h2>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Remember battles fought and tried.<\/em><\/h2>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>The skull reminds us of the cost,<\/em><\/h2>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Of lessons learned, and paths once crossed.<\/em><\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Yet, even when this life must end<\/em><\/h2>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>We rise again, old friend to old friend.<\/em><\/h2>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>For though this life may fade away,<\/em><\/h2>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Our spirit fights another day.<\/em><\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Evil may fall, or rise once more,\u00a0<\/em><\/h2>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>But we will meet it, as before.<\/em><\/h2>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Our goal: to free the hearts of men,<\/em><\/h2>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>To leave this world more whole again.<\/em><\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>A better place, with love and grace,<\/em><\/h2>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>A brighter dawn for every face.<\/em><\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>And now I see what&#8217;s truly won:<\/em><\/h2>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>The spirit&#8217;s light in
